Why does my chocolate have white streaks on it?
White streaks, dots or cloudy gray color on chocolate is called bloom. If chocolate is allowed to get warm or have frequent exposure to high temperatures, the cocoa butters separate from the chocolate and rise to the surface and make white streaks or swirls. The chocolate does not look pretty but it is still delicious and edible.

The best temperature to store your chocolates is between 65-75º  in a place that has low humidity (less than 50 percent), be out of direct sunlight and away from any other foods or substances with strong odors that could be absorbed by the chocolate.  If you do not have air conditioning, you may need to keep your chocolate in the refrigerator or freezer to prevent it from melting.

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes, but only from Nov 1-April 30.  Shipping to Canada takes at least 6 business days with USPS Priority Mail.   During the warm months from May 1-Oct 31 we do not ship outside of the US.  Even with ice packs the items would arrive melted with that much time in transit.

What if my chocolates have melted a little during shipment?

The chocolate can be somewhat restored if it's placed in the refrigerator upon arrival, then brought back to room temperature before eating.
